A new episode of 360Prophecy is up, this one is based on the upcoming game Fable III. Although Fable I was disappointing to me, Fable II drew me back in and I’m really anticipating the third installment. I’m not sure how these co-op interactions are going to play out, but I’m keeping an opening mind. Marrying my co-op partner could be a fun novelty, but do I really have to share my gold?! We’ll see how all these new game mechanics go over… I have a feeling it will be a full on hit or miss, but either way it should be interesting.
Microsoft’s annual “X” event was held in Toronto last week, and although I was unable to go this year (boo!) Jeff made it for the day and checked out some of the upcoming Xbox releases including the new Kinect peripheral. I stayed at home and kept in touch via Twitter and Skype, and although I was disappointed not to make it this year I know I’ll get a chance to check out all the games and more at PAX next week.
I’ll be catching up with some of the community and Toronto tweeps this weekend at FanExpo which I am most excited about. If you’re attending and we haven’t already been DMing, leave me a reply in the comments and let me know. I’ll only be at the show on Saturday, but I’m hoping to meet up with as many people as possible. And if you’re not attending, look for the highlights here next week. Anything in particular you want me to check out for you?
Our friends over at Infinite Interactive – known for the hugely popular Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords – have given us some download codes for their new game, Puzzle Chronicles. Like the original Puzzle Quest, Puzzle Chronicles uses 360Prophecy’s Xbox 360 Button Pack; it’s always nice to see our buttons in a game :)
To enter the draw, all you have to do is visit our Facebook page and comment on the post. We’ll draw a random winner after 6pm on Wednesday, May 5th. http://ow.ly/1FZbE
I loved the original Puzzle Quest so much I bought it twice (PSP and XBLA) and I’m really excited to see what they’ve brought with Puzzle Chronicles. If you’ve played it, let me know what you think in the comments.
We’ve just launched a community forum over at 360Prophecy. It’s something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time, and Jeff recently discovered a great piece of software that allows us to seamlessly integrate it into the site and allows you to sign in with any number of social networking accounts. Win-win!
